I was looking for something fanciful with a long history and thought of a Garden Gnome. Gnomes have a long mythical history, they were thought to live underground, their name derives from the Latin word earth dweller. They are old men who guard buried treasure. Thought to bring good luck. They also provide protection and watch over crops and livestock. This is why we often find them in a garden
